GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

The International Journal of Agro Frontier Research and Innovation (IJAFRI) is committed to publishing high-quality, original, and impactful research in the field of agriculture and allied sciences. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that contribute to scientific advancement, innovation, and sustainable agricultural development. All submissions must strictly adhere to the journal guidelines to ensure a transparent, efficient, and high-standard publication process.

Types of Manuscripts Accepted
The International Journal of Agro Frontier Research and Innovation (IJAFRI) welcomes the following categories of scholarly contributions:
• Original Research Articles: Full-length manuscripts presenting novel research findings with clear objectives, robust methodology, and significant scientific contribution.
• Review Articles: Critical and comprehensive analyses of existing literature providing updated insights into specific areas of agricultural research.
• Short Communications / Case Studies: Concise but impactful reports highlighting emerging research findings, innovations, or practical field applications.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Authors are required to prepare manuscripts in a clear, professional, and academically sound format:
• Language: English (clear, fluent, and grammatically accurate)
• File Format: MS Word (.doc / .docx)
• Font Style: Times New Roman
• Font Size: 12 pt
• Line Spacing: Double
• Alignment: Justified text recommended
• Word Limit:
o Research Articles: 4000–6000 words
o Review Articles: Up to 8000 words

Manuscript Structure
Submissions must follow a standard academic structure as outlined below:
• Title Page: Concise title, author(s) name, affiliation(s), and corresponding author’s email
• Abstract: Up to 250 words summarizing research objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusion
• Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords for indexing and discoverability
• Introduction: Background, problem statement, and research objectives
• Materials and Methods: Detailed methodology, experimental design, and analytical procedures
• Results and Discussion: Clear presentation, interpretation, and scientific analysis of findings
• Conclusion: Key outcomes, implications, and future scope of research
• References: Properly formatted using APA or Chicago style (consistent throughout manuscript)
• Tables & Figures: Clearly numbered, properly cited, and high-resolution with descriptive captions

Publication Ethics & Plagiarism Policy
The International Journal of Agro Frontier Research and Innovation (IJAFRI) maintains strict ethical standards in academic publishing. Authors must ensure:
• Manuscripts are original and not under consideration elsewhere
• Proper acknowledgment of all referenced sources
• Zero tolerance for plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical research practices
• All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools before peer review

Submission Guidelines
• Manuscripts should be submitted via the official journal submission system or designated email
• A cover letter must accompany the submission, confirming originality, authorship, and exclusive submission to International Journal of Agro Frontier Research and Innovation (IJAFRI)
